Pauline Conrad Obituary

Pauline Conrad (nee Reaser), 84, of Elyria, went home to Heaven surrounded by her loving family, at her residence on Sunday April 21, 2024.  She was born February 16, 1940 in Oberlin, to the Late John and Velma (nee Beall) Reaser.  Pauline was a Baptist by faith and she trusted in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.  She raised her family with that same faith.  Pauline attended Keystone Local Schools where she was later employed as a custodian. She retired in 2004 after 18 years of service.  She later enjoyed her time as a runway model for the Christopher & Banks fashion shows at Midway Mall in Elyria.  Pauline also enjoyed reading, listening to gospel, bluegrass and country music, and watching game shows.  What brought her the most joy was her beloved family.  She loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she was very proud of.   Pauline Conrad is survived by: her three daughters, Polly Allman (Virgil Jr.) of Elyria, Chris Conrad of Elyria, and Crystal Draper (John) of Wellington; her daughter-in-law, Dawn Conrad of Elyria; seven grandchildren, Chad Conrad (Ashley) of South Amherst, Courtney Cadman (Michael) of Oberlin, Casey Conrad (Jessica) of Fort Moore, GA, Andrea Hamilton of Columbus, Darius Hamilton of Columbus, Anna Allman of Parma, and Jade Draper of Wellington; 13 great grandchildren (with the 14th on the way); one great-great grandchild; and her sister, Lenora “Nortie” Bennett of Glenville, WV.  Along with her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by: a daughter, Mary Lou Hamilton; her son, Earl Conrad Jr.; five brothers, Landis, Robert, Marvin Daryl, Leroy, and Johnny Jr. Reaser; seven sisters, Norene Gonzalez, Lorena “Ruth” Conrad, Lavina “Reggie” Smith, Vera Jean Marks, Virginia Paull, Alberta “Lois” Bennett, and Josephine “Josie” Earle; and a great grandson.  The family will receive friends on Saturday April 27, 2024 from 11am until the time of the Funeral Service at 1pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  Pastor Rick Young from Liberty Baptist Church in Elyria, will officiate.  It was Pauline’s request for cremation to take place following the services.  Her cremains will be laid to rest at Beall Cemetery in Normantown, West Virginia, at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in her honor to either Hospice of the Western Reserve or The American Diabetes Association.
